Tax Collector’s Office holds first “Passionately Pink” Day

The employees of the Tax Collector’s office elected to support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to raise money for breast cancer research in the Palm Beach County area. On Friday, October 19 th, employees celebrated “Passionately Pink” Day by donating $5 each and dressing in pink to support the cause. Participation agency-wide was overwhelming, raising more than $1,000 to fight breast cancer. With a staff that is nearly 90% female, many employees have been touched by breast cancer, either themselves, a family member, friend or co-worker.

Through our involvement with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, we encourage you to educate yourself and your loved ones about breast cancer.
