Tax Collector Anne Gannon wins Prestigious Bernays Award from the Gold Coast Public Relations Council

Constitutional Tax Collector Gannon was recently recognized by the Gold Coast Public Relations Council for her 2009 Tax Planner & Services Guide.  The Gold Coast Public Relations Council honors excellence in the public relations field annually through the Bernays Awards.  The 2009 Tax Planner & Services Guide won in the “Collateral Material” category.

The Tax Collector’s office had two other nominations in the “Collateral Material” category for their monthly e-newsletter Tax Talk with Anne M. Gannon and their website, taxcollectorpbc.com, and one nomination in the “Special Event” category for the Honest Services and Public Integrity Workshop.  Educating the public is a core component of the Tax Collector’s basic mission to “Collect, EDUCATE, and Distribute”.
