The 2009 property tax notice should arrive in mailboxes shortly. Property taxes are payable November 1 – March 31. Taxpayers will have the ability to pay a reduced rate through February.
Discounts for early payments are allowed as follows:
- 4% in November
- 3% in December
- 2% in January
- 1% in February
Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of the discounts. Eighty percent of taxes are paid during November and December, creating a flurry of activity in the Tax Collector’s office. Please read the “Important Information About Your Property Taxes” brochure included in your property tax notice. It includes an explanation of the tax notice, Installment Payment Plan Application, Address Change Notice and other important property tax information.
Please contact the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s office, at (561) 355-2264, if you have not received your property tax notice by November 16, 2009. Our office is able to email or fax bills to those who have not received their notice. Clients can also visit our web site at www.taxcollectorpbc.com to view or print a duplicate notice.
No discounts are allowed in March and taxes become delinquent on April 1st. The following payment options are available:

MAIL: Postmark constitutes date of payment and determines applicable discounts. Use the return envelope included with your tax notice.
