Local Business Tax Season Kicks Off

Do you conduct business anywhere in the county; provide merchandise or services to the public? Are you a large, mid-size, one-person company or home-based business? If so, you must pay Local Business Taxes.  On June 30, the Tax Collector’s Office kicked off Local Business Tax Season by mailing approximately 91,000 business tax renewals.  The Tax Collector is contracted by the Board of County Commissioners to collect Local Business Taxes. This tax is collected for the privilege of operating a business anywhere in Palm Beach County

The following payment options are available:

CREDIT CARDS : (Phone/On-Line Only) A 2.5% Convenience fee will apply. Visit our payment center now or call (561) 355-2272 for instructions.

E-CHECK : (Phone/On-Line Only) with no additional fee. Visit our payment center now for instructions or call (561) 355-2272.

BY MAIL :
• Make checks payable to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County
• Pay the amount shown on your renewal notice
• Sign the check
• Use the return envelope enclosed with your renewal notice and return bottom portion of the notice with your check
• Send payments to Tax Collector, Palm Beach County, P.O. Box 3353, West Palm Beach, FL 33402-3353

• Downtown West Palm Beach
• Belle Glade
• Delray Beach
• Lake Worth
• Palm Beach Gardens
• Royal Palm Beach

On October 1, unpaid Local Business Taxes are delinquent and subject to monthly penalties thereafter.
