RE:                Veteran Appreciation Day

What:           Constitutional Officer to provide counter service to United States Armed Forces Veterans who request the Florida “V” designation on driver license.

Why:               Florida now allows a special designation for veterans who have been honorably discharged on their driver license or state identification card.  The Appreciation Day includes a flag ceremony presented by the Junior ROTC from Atlantic High School. The ceremony will be followed by brief remarks from Anne M. Gannon, Constitutional Tax Collector.  Several local veterans will then have the special designation issued on their driver license.
